Dunedin

A city with many finest historic buildings, which has close historical links with Scottish city of Edinburgh, Dunedin (old Gaelic name for Edinburgh) also has many streets with Scottish name and preserves Scottish tradition since the first Presbyterian settlers arrived in 1848. One of my favourite cities in New Zealand, famous for its Victorian and Edwardian public buildings. New Zealand’s oldest university, University of Otago, founded in 1869, is also located in this beautiful city (credit to Good Company Tours and DK Eyewitness Travel New Zealand). I mostly enjoyed my trip to Dunedin during my winter and summer holidays. I hope I can visit Dunedin again in the near future.
